Orlando Improv Festival Celebrates International Women’s Day with an Unforgettable Female-Only Block of Performances
Orlando, FL – Feb. 19, 2024 – The O-Town Improv Festival is proud to announce a special celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2024. The festival will dedicate an entire block of performances exclusively to female improvisers, showcasing the immense talent and creativity of women in the world of comedy.
This unique event will take place at ME Theater and promises an evening filled with laughter, empowerment, and sheer comedic brilliance. The inaugural O-Town Improv Festival is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusivity in the comedy community, and this Women’s Day celebration is a testament to that commitment.

The Female-Only Block of Performances features an incredible lineup of talented improvisers who have made their mark on the artform.
“When I saw our event coincided with International Women’s Day, I knew we had to celebrate the talents of these ladies,” said Marisa Cutaia, Festival Director. “Comedy knows no gender, and this block of talent is a testament to the power of laughter and the diversity of voices within the comedy world.”
